Harald, My understanding is that the build version should only pull in the parts of the qx libraries that are necessary. One thing you can do to reduce the size is to gzip the file into something like build.js.gz and configure Apache to send the proper MIME-type as a compressed file. Then the client will decompress the file after transferring it.
