Hi. I had a similar problem some time ago. Try putting the eval on a single line. If this doesn't help, try building it up as a string, maybe from several pieces, then eval-ing it. Also, try to locate the place in the build file and see what the generator builds from your string. You can edit the generated script around that portion to further investigate the problem.
In my case, if I remember correctly, it was a very hard to spot issue, related to JavaScript interpreting newlines as statement terminators, but not always, depending on the context. As I was reading the spec, it all became very clear to me.
