I'm getting some very odd results with FireFox 3.6.15 and Qooxdoo (1.3 and trunk). Yesterday I upgraded to FireFox 3.6.15. First I noticed in my rather complex Qooxdoo app that many (but not all) labels were not sizing correctly and, in many cases showing ellipses when not reasonable (i.e. the menu item above it is longer and showing).
Soon I tried just doing the create-application.py -n test -- the brand new app template with the "First Button". I build and bring that up in the browser (through my web server) and even this template has the problem (the label is truncated early). With 1.3 and trunk. But the problem gets odder. So I open the "First Button" app directly in the browser (via file://) and it works fine. The "First Button" app also works fine in Chrome 9 and IE 8 - both from http:// and file://. I fire up the qooxdoo demo ( http://demo.qooxdoo.org/current/demobrowser/ ) in FireFox 3.6.15 and it works fine - even though http:// . I fire up a VM and run FireFox 3.6.13 against "First Button" (http) and it works fine. But I have three qooxdoo applications on my PC that, when run through my web server, all display the same sort of problem with ellipses/sizing in FireFox 3.6.15. I checked bugzilla and see an old bug about ellipses and FF, but that fix should be in 1.3 and trunk. Anyone else had weird behavior in Qooxdoo with FF 3.6.15? Any ideas?
