The serialization to URI parameter is not supposed to work with array types 
because only key value pairs are supported as parameter anyway. I guess there 
is a good reason that you store your data that way.
Do you use a from widget for your form items? If yes, you could use a form 
controller additionally, create a model with that controller (which works in 
one line) and serialize that. That created model will have the fitting name / 
value properties and can be serialized easily.
