Hi

I like the idea that when an application is re-sized the various widgets
adjust appropriately to space available. I was planning to set a
minimum window size but if the windows is re-sized by the user I like
the idea that the widgets adjust appropriately but before I make a
definite application design decision I would like to know the potential
cost in terms of performance.

If I base a RIA on the canvas layout with percentages sizes and
positions as opposed to the basic layout with fixed positions and
widgets sizes how much performance is lost? Will it be noticeable to
the user?

Thanks,
Simon
