Now that I think about it, I guess I am stuck between a rock and a hard spot. I have to use Compatibility mode due to a bug in another library. So I can't switch to Standards mode, no matter how much I want to. I'll give 1.5 a try, but I suspect that I am going to have the same problem in IE7 Comp mode because I'm sure that's not something you test against.
