On Windows if you use Rcmd.bat from http://batchfiles.googlecode.com to do your builds and installs then you don't have to set any environment variables for R. Its a self contained batch file that automatically finds what it needs using the registry where possible and assuming standard locations otherwise. Just use Rcmd.bat in place of Rcmd.exe . -- Statistics & Software Consulting GKX Group, GKX Associates Inc. tel: 1-877-GKX-GROUP email: ggrothendieck at gmail.com ______________________________________________ R-help@r-project.org mailing list https://stat.ethz.ch/mailman/listinfo/r-help PLEASE do read the posting guide http://www.R-project.org/posting-guide.html and provide commented, minimal, self-contained, reproducible code.
