Hi Duane, This is a fairly major change to the current fixtures system. It introduces some complicated error conditions (overlapping fixtures in particular). I see Jeremy intended to introduce it post 1.0, but I think it'd probably make more sense as a plugin. That way we can get it bedded down and have some best-practise emerge before we commit it to rails.
