And when I was ready I saw a good topic on this same forum: RB not suitable for beginners? by Stevekir http://forums.realsoftware.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=29702 I will not post on his topic, I will rather ask here. Anyway, I am going through users guide (that big PDF) and I am having problems, time killer problems. This one is the most fresh. I need to make a variable a global one. Users guide says: Quote:If you need a variable whose scope is greater than local, you need to create a property of an object or a property in a module. That is ok, but no mention on how to do this exactly. I know how to add module in project and that's all. I am not beginner programmer (I am in RB though), and these kind of things just kill time. Someone please show me how to do this and is there a book full of examples... anything that might help (besides Getting Started, Tutorial and Users Guide) Top Display posts from previous: All posts1 day7 days2 weeks1 month3 months6 months1 year Sort by AuthorPost timeSubject AscendingDescending Page 1 of 1 [ 1 post ] -- Over 1500 classes with 29000 functions in one REALbasic plug-in collection.
