Posts: 1 If I have in a button's click event a shell that spawns
'mplayer /dev/video0' I have issues in every mode.
Mode 0 - mplayer shows up but the gui is locked with the button depressed until
mplayer is closed
Mode 1 and 2 - no mplayer shows up but the button isn't locked either

I tried putting the shell creation and exec in a thread and calling it via the
thread.run from the button's click event but it has exactly the same results. I
am launching via shell as opposed to trying the build-in movie player because I
am on Ubuntu Jaunty 64-bit and the 32-bit xine and gstreamer libraries don't
appear to be available in it. Simply adding the movie player component
segfaults the REALBasic IDE.

Thanks,
Brian
