I went to copy a sample database folder from users/Library/Application Support on my Leopard machine to my Snow Leopard machine.....there was no folder users/Library/Application Support visible. I opened a Terminal window and tried, unsuccessfully to change to that folder. I know it exists...the LR says that I am reading and storing my working database there. Any ideas? Btw, the name of it is SpecialFolder.ApplicationData, but it points to Application Support on OS X. Don't forget that shell commands doesn't handle file names with space in it (or other special chars)... you have to convert it to the URL-safe string, such as "Application%20Support". Or am I remembering incorrectly? Should exist. (Not at a SL machine now.) I have tried: cd/ /charlescohen/Library/Application%20Support and nothing again...no such file or directory It is a hidden folder...I was able to use CCC to my folders and copy them...but they still don't appear in the Finder. If you wouldn't mind...how can unhide it....do I need to see it to unhide it?...seems counterintuitve but I had to ask:-) My install to Snow Leopard was also an upgrade not a clean install.
