The US RDA Test Coordinating Committee continues to evaluate and analyze the
data from the US RDA Test. The report from the committee will be submitted to
the senior managers of the three U.S. national libraries on May 6. The
decision of those senior managers will be announced in June; the report for the
public will be released before the 2011 ALA Annual Meeting (June 23-28).

Subject: [RDA-L] Test Coordinating Committee report

The end of March marked a deadline of sorts for the U.S. RDA Test Coordinating
Committee to issue their report on RDA implementation based on the results of
the RDA Test. Judging from Beacher Wiggins'
comments during a session at ALA Midwinter this past January, March 31 was
considered a soft deadline rather than a "drop dead" date. Would a
representative from the Test Coordinating Committee offer an ETA on when the
report might be released?
