I certainly have no answer for yet another RDA mystery. My son who took a cataloging course this summer was thoroughly puzzled by some of the language in RDA.
One big disappointment I've felt is that the 240 wasn't moved to 700 author-title. I'm wondering how we're going to explain this to non-librarians when they try to use RDA for their cataloging.
