PIZZA BURGERS It makes about 4 good sized burgers but you can double it or even triple it if needed. Also use the Boboli pizza sauce I've used other brands and they didn't taste as good. You can find it at Homeland.
Pizza Burgers 1lb ground beef 1/2 bell pepper sliced 1 medium onion sliced 2 cups fresh sliced mushrooms garlic salt to taste pepper to taste hamburger buns 1 packet Boboli pizza sauce 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Form ground beef into patties and brown and cook in skillet sprayed with cooking spray season to taste and set aside. In large skillet sprayed with cooking spray brown and saute bell pepper, onion, and mushrooms. Sprinkle with garlic salt and pepper. Assemble each burger with bun, patty, pizza sauce, cheese and sauteed veggies. Place open faced on baking sheet under broiler long enough for sauce to heat and cheese to melt.
