RE: Looking for info on TPL UHF Power Amp PA6-1AE 19" rack mount. Hi All! I recently P/U this amp. Unfortunately, TPL lists many versions of the PA6 on their web site: _http://www.tplcom.com/_ (http://www.tplcom.com/) This list has a number of packages that this amp comes in. I have a 19" rack version about 7" high. It appears that I have an older model not on their site. I have an email also pending with them sent yesterday. Here is what I got so far: There is no model number, serial number, ranges, etc on this package! -- I have some older version of the 400-512 MHz amp similar to the PA6 with the "RS package" The RS package has vertical fins, this one seems older with horizontal fins. No Fans! The Heat sink covers the entire front of the unit. -- I could only generate low power up to 450 MHz and got 4 in 60 watts out & 8 in 75 watts out at 443 & 450 I saw no difference in output at 443 & 450 but the guy had 4 watt 464 rpt (some no name, data rpt'er, this amp may have been part of this package!) TPL currently offers amps in the 6 in 100 watt out range. Anyway, Any one have any experience with these little guys? Access to old sales brouchers, tune up instructions and the like? Any help would be great Thanks, Brian WD9HSY
