Making the Micor repeater work with a RC210 controller is very easy, I have 6 of them in service now. leave the station logic card in the rack, throw all the rest away. make sure that jumpers 1,4,and 5 are on the back plane. cut any others. jump pins 6 and 14 on the lower row of pins on the back plane(J2). connect the discriminator input of the 210 to pin 15 of J2 connect the mike input to screw#20 on the back plane connect the PTT input to screw #8 connect the cor input to J2, pin #10 if you are using PL connect the 12V input of the 210 to screw # 10 on the station card make sure that jumpers 1 through 9 are in, cut 10 and 11 take a IRC510 mosfet, using double sided tape, connect it to the backplane just above pins 19 and 20 of J5. connect the center lead to pin 19. connect the right lead to pin 20. connect the left lead to pin 27 with a piece of wire. that's all.. it will work fine. lance, N2HBA ----- Original Message ----- From: Paul Simpson To: Repeater-Builder@yahoogroups.com Sent: Friday, May 18, 2007 6:49 AM Subject: [Repeater-Builder] Micor Compa Repeater,Squelch Gate Interface & RC-210
Heya Folks, This one is more directed at skipp seeing he was the one that come up with the mod I did on the squelch gate card in a Moto Mircor Compa Repeater I am trying to setup an RC-210 on. RC-210 to work on a Moto Micor Compa I had the repeater working before I started the project, but I cant seem to get audio into the controller. The controller senses that there is a carrier there when I generate an RF signal on my service monitor and once the carier breaks the squelch it will key up the transmitter. It will ident and play messages fine. But I have no repeat audio. Playing with the adjustments on the Disc pot (thinking it was just low audio) has done nothing to help. Is there something I am missing here? Is there something a bit differetnt to deal with on the Micors? Should I put the SG card back the way it was and choose another path? Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated. 73's Paul VK2FWIZ
