Joe, What is a "UHG" radio? Please advise the complete model number on the data plate. Early Motorola Radius mobile radios, such as the SM50, were manufactured as either a narrow band or wide band model, and could not be changed. More recent models, such as the CM200, are programmable for bandwidth.
Are your radios simply hooked together with a simple cable, or are you using a R*I*C*K or similar controller? If the former, the low audio is probably due to mismatched audio levels between the radios. Depending upon what models of radio you have, this may be easy to correct- or not. 73, Eric Lemmon WB6FLY -----Original Message----- From: Repeater-Builder@yahoogroups.com [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Joe Sent: Saturday, November 29, 2008 12:53 PM To: Repeater-Builder@yahoogroups.com Subject: [Repeater-Builder] Motorola uhf & VHF radius wide band or narrow band Does anyone know if the Motorola UHG VHF mobile Radius have narrow band and wide settings? Because I am using a VHF & UHF for a cross band repeater and the audio is low. Thanks Joe [EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:Joen5ozg%40bellsouth.net>
