We were told (By Red Hat) it was not included in 5.0 due to technical
difficulties, but it will be in a future update.

The package from FC6 works fine.

Hi,

Im trying to use EL5 diskless but i cant find the system-config-netboot
package in the distro.

according to the documentation
(
http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/enterprise/RHEL-5-manual/en-US/Installation_Guide.pdf
)

it should be still available.

It is also still in Fedora Core 6.

Does anyone know if it has been removed or is it just missing?

regards
Adrian
