Setting a file to "undeletable" using chattr +u <file> is not honored by the kernel and still allows deletion. Have tested on latest RH5 kernels in ext2/ext3/ext4 filesystems. Chattr man pages says this may be implemented in future versions... Is there any other way to make a file truly undeletable but modifiable since they wont add ext support for some reason?
