I send my deep condolences to the family of rietvelders and to his family too. He surely will be missed. I remember that once he asked the community a way to find a distributor of materials for neutron sources and it was very funny. I replied him that the fastest way was to ask to a neutron center directly which were their suppliers, He was very kind and accepted my modest suggestion (I am still a Ph.D. student) with warmth and friendship.
