Few other things: 1. Any one have the "insanely wide window" problem. For example, Configure repositories> Fetch list> Cancel: the resulting message window is at least three or four screens wide. I'll try to do some more testing tonight and update.
Don't know exactly what you mean. What I often get is the already reported problem of the broken-in-the-middle line of text within most of the message windows. The only noticeable oversized dialog is the Settings one (Settings > Configure RKWard) but just a little, not three or four screens wide.
And one more, concerning the package manager:When installing packages onto user directory instead of system wide, there seems to be a hidden warning which triggers the "There were errors / warnings..." red message no matter which package is currently being installed. As an example, I can't see anything strange in the following output, but the message is still triggered:
