Welcome to the world of unpaid volunteer work. :-)
Hopefully, you will discover that lots of the code is fairly easy to
understand even without comments.
Please don't take this the wrong way, but it doesn't really encourage
newcomers to the project when they come across masses of uncommented
code.
Perhaps not. Feel free to add comments along the way and submit a patch
or two.
