My second one is dying because of bad flash memory (random boot or plugin failures, already reflashed Rockbox). The third one still lives. With Rockbox, it's such a handy audio player and recorder, with tuner and metronome built in. But I don't see a replacement in the market that doesn't suck in some respect in comparison (and be it just too high power draw), should the last one die. The device discussed in this thread is a different class, actually more geared towards stationary use … I mean … balanced output? It's a funny mix. Alrighty then, Thomas
