Have you tried resetting the PRAM? Hold down option-command-P-R at startup and keep holding it down until you hear a third start up chime. It is a common thing for Nubus based Macs to need a PRAM reset in order to recognize a card, particularly so if you remove one card and put in another without starting up in between.

I've got a Rocket (040, v 1.0 on the ROM) with 32MB RAM in a IIci with 32MB RAM as well. Jumpers A and B are set to 100NS since I don't know the true speed of the RAM. I've tried to load RocketShare, but the software doesn't see the board at all. I've tried a custom install and it still doesn't see the board. I know the RAM is good since I pulled it from a working machine. There are no other cards in the machine as well. What else do I need to look at?
