Ah right.  Yes, I mentioned such a thing myself when ranting about the crappy 
choice of transport-control hotkeys.  We use the KDE code to manage hotkeys, 
I don't know whether KDE supports such a thing or is ever likely to.  In the 
short term I think we'd be unlikely to implement a non-KDE way to do it.

Of course your local hotkey definitions are stored in a single XML file 
anyway, IIRC (one of the Rosegarden-specific ones under ~/.kde/share) so you 
could always take that around with you.  No way to manage it from the GUI 
though.
