Can you possibly file a bug report on this one? This is a known crash. I even wrote a note in comments to the effect of "I bet undoing this goes kaboom, fingers crossed!" Well, undoing add layer goes kaboom, and I didn't sort that our prior to the release. (Mostly because I introduced this feature at the very last minute.) We need to fix such an obvious and dangerous crash for 10.04, although the way things are looking at the moment, I'm thinking about scrubbing the 10.04 release. I'm not going to be able to do much work before April myself, and so far we only have one lonely bullet point in the release note. -- D.
