I also get a linker error -- undefined reference to
`QObjectPrivate::checkWindowRole() -- when building against the Qt4.7.{2,3 or
4} which comes with the QtSDK I've got downloaded. When I build against the
Qt4.7.2 I have installed from the repositories as part of my Ubuntu 11.04,
successful build. Dunno what the difference is yet though, just confirming your
observations.
