I was thinking more along the lines of...  Well, what does it matter anyway?  
I find it sufficiently reassuring that you looked at the other mechanism 
first, before going to all this trouble.

That goes for everyone else who has been at work lately too, of course.  After 
a rather slow period, it looks like this old Rosegarden ship is starting to 
catch some good wind in her sails.

Excellent!  That's why Chris and I keep the lights on around here, even though 
I think it's depressingly unlikely that either one of us will ever have as 
much time as we used to enjoy to devote to this project.
