I have recommitted on the logical-instruments branch. It should compile
now - at least a test full compile here works. Thank you for your
patience, particularly Michael.
I'll spare you the gory details of what went wrong, but it was leftover
mess from before and I have reason to believe it's all fixed now.
I had made a little further progress, so now percussion plays correctly
and jumping in time works better (still more to do on it).
