That sounds like something I've run into before, without ever quite understanding exactly what was happening. The fix sounds plausible. BTW, I lost track of the message where you were wondering what to do with the Git version of the update-qrc script. There's no reason why you shouldn't put it in the repository somewhere. update-qrc-git or something? I don't really know, but I'm sure you'll figure out something reasonable. -- D.
