I finally got time to have a look, and a listen.

You're right, it's hard to describe, and it's totally broken.  Note lengths 
are coming out many times longer than the original in some cases, and it 
sounds like some of the double tap bass notes are getting skipped on export 
too.

I don't understand what could be going on here.  I do note that this piece 
involves lots of repeating segments, which are now exported, but wouldn't have 
been previously.  Maybe that has something to do with it.
