Yeah, space is supposed to be punch in/punch out. It never has worked quite right for some reason. The Return thing happened when some user was whining that one enter key worked but the other didn't for starting playback. I didn't investigate or test, I just made the change to get both of them to work. Now I know why the other one wasn't working. That shortcut already did something. Oops. Oh well.
