Seems like a fine idea to me.

Our use of RG_DEBUG/std::cerr/std::cout has always been incredibly messy 
and inconsistent for a variety of reasons, which mostly amount to me 
being lazy and in a hurry.

If only Rosegarden had started life as a pure Qt project from the 
beginning....

Oh well, not offering anything of real substance here, just fogging a
