I'm changing your habits (for you all) with my automated test and its baseline,
it will of course take some time getting used to.

But I can definitely tell you: it's worth it. I have been able to make major 
refactorings
and improvements to the lilypond exporter (for "export beamings"), and to catch
many regressions while doing that (before committing), thanks to the extensive 
test
coverage that the example files have to offer. Without such tests, major 
refactorings
are so scary that people tend to not even dare doing them at all...
