So now imagine I want to update my powerfull distro from version A to B. The dedicated installer tools (urpmi/yum/whatever) will fetch index. But the tools will be unable to detect one of rpm coming in B need first last rpm

So, wouldn't be better for rpm packages of rpm to have it providing it's
rpmlib dependencies ?
