No argument re "shrink" whatsoever. Meanwhile no one has ever written the
statistics gathering program, its all just "IMO ..."
I absolutely know that an alternative representation for SHA256 file digests
encoded in hex strings would be (at least) an order of magnitude larger
reduction in the size of Packages than any other conceivable change.
Would you care to wager? ;-)
Meanwhile its way past time to do the statistics gathering to get rid of these
silly opinion based discussions. Tomorrow's todo++.
