Hi,

The default branch for rpy2 (currently 2.4.0-dev is no longer supporting
Python 2).

I believe that this is not such a radical move, since an increasing
number of Linux distributions have Python 3 as a default, and this will
simplify the code base (particularly at the C level).

While Python 3 will be the way forward for new features and additions,
the 2.3.x series for rpy2 will remain compatible with both Python 2.7
and Python 3.3 and have bugfix releases along the way, until rpy2-2.4.0
is out.
