Apparently TCL is not pre-installed on Red Hat EL (at least not on 2.6.9-67.0.1). So I installed TCL v 8.5, but then RRDtool 'make' was looking for something realted to tcl8.4. I then discovered the --disable-tcl modifier for ./configure. Since I don't need TCL I used this and RRDtool built fine. RRDtool make is trying to build for TCL. Is it odd the Red Hat EL4 is missing tcl.h? Do I have to install TCL? It looks like it is somewhat there already :-( Thanks, Joe Making all in tcl make[3]: Entering directory `/home/loiacono/rrdtool-1.2.26/bindings/tcl' gcc -g -O2 -fno-strict-aliasing -Wall -std=gnu99 -pedantic -Wshadow -Wpointer-arith -Wcast-align -Wmissing-prototypes -Wmissing-declarations -Wnested-externs -Winline -W -fPIC -DPIC -g -O2 -fno-strict-aliasing -Wall -std=gnu99 -pedantic -Wshadow -Wpointer-arith -Wcast-align -Wmissing-prototypes -Wmissing-declarations -Wnested-externs -Winline -W -fPIC -DPIC -fPIC [EMAIL PROTECTED]@ -I../../src -DUSE_TCL_STUBS -c tclrrd.c -DVERSION=\"1.2.26\" tclrrd.c:20:17: tcl.h: No such file or directory ..._______________________________________________ rrd-users mailing list rrd-users@lists.oetiker.ch https://lists.oetiker.ch/cgi-bin/listinfo/rrd-users
