just for any user who may stumble over this before RTnet will give warnings automatically:
The LXRT interface of RTnet 0.8.0 does not work if the kernel (2.6 only) is compiled with CONFIG_REGPARM switched on. Switch it off first.
Later versions of RTnet will either warn or, if RTAI 3 fixes this issue for its core API as well, implement correct function declarations to avoid the problem. Fusion will not suffer from this, first, because there is currently no user space support for RTnet, and second, the one going to implemented will work differently.
