I have used real glass exclusively in my own models for about 20 years now. It IS a lot of work & takes some getting used to. I made a cutting fixture. There is not much ACC fogging. If it does it can be scraped off, as well as and ACC that is seen. There is a TON of it all over eBay listed as Microscope slide cover glass.
