Great! I realize it wouldn't produce the up/down end result that SA
currently determines.
thinking a little more into it, it would be a level of an alert.
"up" for everything is all good, no triggered alerts/thresholds;
"warning" for a triggered alert/threshold;
when x (# of or % of) alerts/thresholds triggered "critical {status}";
<-- different levels of this area too.
when all alerts have been triggered, check is "down"

I’ll rephrase currently only possible via multiple entries.
Your question made me think and probably I’ll be able to add something
for this based on scripting.

The only way to do that is by creating multiple entries.

Subject: [SA-List] Check/Response Question
Is it possible to have one check with multiple outcomes based on the
check threshold result?
For example. I have a UPS and I am monitoring the timeticks on. When
the UPS drops to 360,000 ticks, I want the 'alert' to send a specific
email. UPS has 1HR battery life left. Then one at 180,000, 30min
left... etc.. only way I can see about doing this is created a check
with the timeticks at the specified threshold to produce the alert I
want. instead of one check, and the alert that is sent is based on the
timetick value at the time of the check.
