I didn't want to follow the hype and call it a cloud-service, but you could see it like that. Your "personal" Servers Alive instance running on your network would connect to the cloud-service and use that for some checks.

The service I'm talking about will give you the possibility to check from an outside location while now all checks are done from within the internal network.
