SA running as service and did the change via the app? If so then restart the service :-)

I have alerts setup with groups being notified via email. I added another person to the group, but they are not getting notified when the alert kicks off. Do I need to re-apply the group to that alert? I would hate to have to go through all the alerts and re-apply. :)
