For anyone building Samba from source:
I goofed a couple of small details in the 3.0.8 release.
(a) the docs are the ones from 3.0.8pre2. The latest docs ~ build can be downloaded from ~ http://samba.org/~samba-bugs/docs/samba-docs-latest.tar.bz2 ~ Just unpack this archives and move the contents into ~ samba-3.0.8/docs/
(b) for some reason a large majority of the files are don't ~ include group/other read access. Just making you aware ~ of it (thanks to Buchan @ Mandrake for making me aware ~ of the issue.
I don't see where this warrants the bandwidth required for another release. Hopefully we can all just work around it.
