The right decision is to restart Scientific Linux. Obviously that is not going to happen, which leaves organizations like mine in a bind. I am not sure what we will do, but CentOS Stream is definitely not it.

The restart is called https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__rockylinux.org_&d=DwICaQ&c=gRgGjJ3BkIsb5y6s49QqsA&r=gd8BzeSQcySVxr0gDWSEbN-P-pgDXkdyCtaMqdCgPPdW1cyL5RIpaIYrCn8C5x2A&m=zu2WhRSN4T1horhPg87GzkI7xBN78HdOdKckGDLwxqmE0n02jZXf3KF02Xed8D--&s=M-7zZdP1KjXMAWHjuu55mPPcibTiP2p9wdKKMlJ-2IE&e= ;-)

There's a big (and growing fast) group of HPC and scientific computing professionals using Rocky 8 already.
