Subject: [Scratchbox-users] Cannot to link pango
Hi
I am compiling gtk-2.10.0. I have compiled all dependencies
including the
latest version of Pango.
But when I run configure like
./configure --with-x --without-libjpeg
--x-includes=/usr/local/include/X11 --x-libraries=/usr/local/lib
it is giving error like
***Cannot link to pango libraries.
Though I have all comoiled libraries in /usr/local/lib.
Please give any suggesstion.
> a) Perhaps configure is using pkgconfig & you dont have it
installed or you have the wrong version
b) other
In either case there may be a configure switch to define where
the pango libraries are
./configure --help will give you possible configuration items
If that doesn't work you need to check the configure script to
see how it searches for the pango libraries
and either hack configure or link your libraries in the right
place (as far as configure is concerned)
According prezious mailing list. I have read and there was a
suggesstion to tryu with other version of pango I have tried that but
same error.
