That sounds promising, but I'm probably missing something: when I boot into
dslbis.iso, it just informs me it can't find a "KNOPPIX filesystem", and there
isn't much more there than a prompt... Is the Live CD not standalone?

That just gives me kernel panic when I try to start it :-( - but I suppose
that's a discussion for another list...
