YOU ARE NOW ENTERING A HYPE ZONE | searchDatabase Best Web Link

Oracle's doing it. Microsoft's doing it. Sybase and Sun are doing
it. Everyone's doing it -- jumping on the hot, hot, hot Web
services bandwagon. It's a totally tubular ride, but the wagon is
driving through a hype zone. If you're gonna ride, you have to be
able to separate the good, the fad, and the ugly.

THE MISSING LINK | Women fail safe text test

Zed's not dead, baby, no matter what Bruce Willis said in "Pulp
Fiction." Zed is a mobile services firm in the UK that wanted to
know more about the habits of its customers. Zed found nearly 80%
of those polled between ages 18 and 35 like to mix messages with
their alcohol, sending at least three text messages while they're out
drinking. (And it said women are the worst offenders.) One in five
people wakes up the next morning with more than just a hangover. He
or she ends up having to call one of those three message recipients
to apologize. Seems drinking and messaging can be a volatile
combination.
