an ARM processor. Will I be able to run Flash 10.1(browser based) on
that? Are there any sites that'll help on finding information on
 this?

 thanks

Seems there's not browser based flash 10 on any device. The browser on
Nexus One and Other Android handset doesn't support flash.

What kind video do you watch to demo flash 10?

 Mike, curious

I find android.view.ScaleGestureDetector and also an inner class
OnScaleGestureListener in android_2.1. These classes are for scale
gesture. Maybe you can find more there. :-

[android-developers] Getting LinearLayout to wrap contents

2010-03-24 Thread Beginner
Hi,

I've got a horizontal LinearLayout that contains a variable number of
child LinearLayouts. Right now, the children will just run off the
screen if there are too many of them.

How would I make the parent layout wrap the children on multiple
lines? If this is not possible, should I be using a different layout
as the parent?

Thanks!

There is no built-in layout that wraps child Views the way a TextView

 to implement it?

Any help in this regard would be really appreciable.

Hope to get a quick reply.

Do you have Android source code? You can check BrowserAcitvity.java
and TabControl.java in packages/apps/Browser. That is place
implementing the minimized view.

Basically, the whole webview is a picture. you can user
WebView.capturePicture to get the picture. Then scale and show it.

Hope this could help you.

[android-developers] Re: No Network Connectivity in Service/AlarmManager Process.

2010-03-24 Thread AuxOne
Just to let you know, I experimented with FULL_WAKE_LOCK. Not only did
it not turn on the screen as it said it would, which is a good thing I
guess, but it also doesn't seem to lock as effectively as the
PARTIAL_WAKE_LOCK. Both seem to go into a deep sleep around 15-20 min
of use and then WiFi connectivity is gone.

When testing on the emulator faking a cellular network (and no Wifi),
it works fine with PARTIAL so I didn't try FULL.

[android-developers] SIngle or double digit picker?

2010-03-24 Thread BobG
What would we call a single digit picker or a double digit picker?
They would be useful for simple numeric entry and parameter adjustment
like height and width. I suppose one could hack and whack the time
picker to pieces to get something like this? (Actually I want to
adjust EQ parameters like freq and Q, but I'm sure you get the
idea...). Thanks for any hints, tips or tricks.
