Skype is not a good program for remoting. A much better free program is RemAud. 
Try it and  you will never go back. Virtually no detectable latency.

Are you using it with VAC1 or a hardware hookup to the computer running 
PowerSDR?
If VAC1 then what settings are you using on the server end like what 
data rate, how many bits etc.
If hardware did you use the audio out or the headphone jack or the audio 
in/out on the DB9?

[Flexradio] using Skype for remote audio

I am using Skype for remote audio and experiencing an excessive latency 
in audio in and out to the Flex 3000. Is there a cure for this?
